Starter Plants and Perennials

We offer high quality perennial and annual Starter Plants and Plug Plants.

For the summer months we offer an extensive range of Starter Plants and Ornamental Bedding Plugs. These annual starter plants will be posted direct from our supplier in Spalding to your home ready for planting and growing on in a greenhouse or conservatory, before moving into the garden in May, once the risk of frost has passed.

To bring colour to your garden for the rest of the year, we now offer a range of Autumn Plugs. These young plants will be posted to you in September ready for planting and growing on in a greenhouse, before moving into the garden in October for flowering in the Autumn, Winter and Spring months (Please check the listing details for the flowering period of each product).

For the keen gardener, our starter plants and plug plants give you more satisfaction than buying finished plants, as you watch your floral creations develop and bloom. They also save you money but without the stress of propagating from seed or cuttings.

We also offer pre-planted inserts for Hanging Baskets and Patio Containers. These provide a quick and easy way to bring beautiful floral displays to your patio. These are sold for dispatch in May - June for the summer season or with hardy plants in September-October for the autumn to spring period.

AUTUMN PLANTERS

Our autumn planters are pre-planted inserts that are ready to plant into Hanging Baskets and Patio Containers. They consist of a unique mesh bottom 30cm diameter planter charged with slow release fertilizer and pre-planted with 7 quality hardy and vigorous plants. Just pop the planter on top of a compost filled container (basket or pot) and within just 2 to 3 weeks they will already bringing colour to your patio.

Our Cool Wave pansy planters will produce masses of flowers throughout the autumn and spring and even flower mid winter too if the weather is mild. Choose from 5 beautiful colour ranges.

AUTUMN PLUG PLANTS

Our autumn plug plants bring floral colour to your garden in the period from Autumn to Spring. We have taken care of the tricky germination of these popular plants. Simply transplant to pots and grow on for a couple of weeks in a greenhouse before transferring to hanging baskets, patio containers, garden beds or borders when your summer displays have finished.
